Why We Created MiniTown

Because parents deserve more than just “watching from the sidelines”

For 15 years, we searched for a place like this.

A place where we could take our kids to play safely, while we sat down with a hot coffee that didn’t go cold.
A place where we didn’t have to juggle snacks, shoes, meltdowns, and guilt — all while standing in a loud, crowded space that was never made with us in mind.
A place where we could breathe, even for a little while.

But that place didn’t exist.

So, we built it.

Minitown was born from that longing — a longing we know so many parents feel, even if we don’t say it out loud.

We wanted more than just a place for kids to burn energy. We wanted somewhere to create memories.
Where children could pretend to be firefighters or grocery clerks, climb, explore, dance, and just be kids.
And where parents, grandparents, and caregivers could feel seen. Cared for. Included.

At Minitown, you don’t just drop off your child’s joy and wait on the sidelines.
You sip your coffee while watching them play with wonder. You chat with a friend. You sit, breathe, and maybe—just maybe—feel like you matter in the middle of it all.

We know what it’s like to need that kind of space. That’s why we created Minitown.

Not just a play café.
Not just a birthday venue.
A place full of heart, built by parents who once dreamed of something better for their own family — and for yours too.

Thanks for being part of this dream.
We’re so glad you’re here.

With love,
Christine & Nelson
