Fall is finally here, and with it comes a season full of celebration, new flavors, and unforgettable experiences at Minitown Café & Play. September is only the beginning, and we’ve been working behind the scenes to bring families a lineup of events and café treats that feel like autumn wrapped in fun.

💃 Parents’ Night Out – Zumba Party | September 12

We’re kicking things off with an evening just for parents. John Layseca will lead a high-energy Zumba class in the café, while the kids (ages 0–6) enjoy their own party in our vibrant playground with Rainbow Station. It’s a perfect mix: parents get to dance it out, and kids get to party!

📚 Meet the Authors – Sloth Wants Coffee | September 17

Next, we welcome Nikki & Cameron, authors of the adorable children’s book Sloth Wants Coffee. Families can enjoy a live storytime, purchase signed copies, and even grab a photo with the authors. And the best part? This event is included with Open Play for the 11–1 slot that day.

🍁 Harvest Party | September 20

Our fall highlight! The Harvest Party will feature a scavenger hunt with prizes, live music, character meet & greets, a caricature artist, and plenty of surprises. It’s the ultimate fall celebration for little ones (ages 0–6), and we can’t wait to see their excitement as they explore, play, and celebrate the season.

Behind the Scenes at Minitown

What makes all this possible? A lot of love, laughter, and a pinch of organized chaos! Planning events at Minitown means brainstorming fun activities that kids will love and parents will appreciate. From searching for the perfect Zumba instructor, to sampling pastries (someone has to do it 😉), and sipping coffee while choosing which fall flavors should make it onto the menu — it’s a team effort fueled by caffeine and creativity.

Speaking of flavors… our café menu is getting a seasonal glow-up! Expect new fall pastries like pumpkin, apple, and cranberry delights, plus cozy drinks to match the autumn mood. Yes, the Pumpkin Spice Latte is already here, and more fall-inspired options are coming soon.
